Friends Advisory Board (Our FAB TEAM)

As we grow there was a need for us to have an advisory board to assist us in support the Board of Trustees in management of our organisation. This group of volunteers give advice in the various areas of expertise.

Abisola Giwa-Osagie

A management professional, Mrs. Giwa-Osagie recently retired as the Deputy Managing Director of NEM Insurance PLC. A trained barrister, she brings to the St. Cyril team extensive expertise with a specialty in insurance and business development. She is also a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) and the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN).

Muyiwa Adetiba

Mr. Adetiba commenced his journalism career as a Features Writer for the Punch magazine and later a columnist for one of the group's magazines "The Happy Home Magazine". His technical training in Journalism skills started at The Punch and by the age of 23 he had become an Assistant Editor and the Star Writer for one of the largest Newspaper Groups in Nigeria. By the age of 28, Muyiwa had reached the pinnacle of his profession having been appointed as the Editor of the Sunday Punch and was also the pioneer Editor of Vanguard Newspapers two years later. He had the unique opportunity of being one of the few Editors that have edited Sunday/Saturday and Daily papers at the same time. As an entrepreneur, Muyiwa set up his own publication 'Prime People' in 1986, which by 1989 became the largest selling weekday magazine He still writes for Vanguard and is an entrepreneur.

Bankole Animashaun

Bankole Animashaun is a Corporate Commercial legal practitioner with over three decades of experience in various facets of the law with specialties in foreign investment and property law. He is a partner with Animashaun, Animashaun & Associates, a family law firm established almost 60 years ago. He is a Notary Public and a member of various organizations such as the Nigerian Bar Association and the Institute of Directors.

Mairo Usman

Mairo MT Usman, was born on the 12th February 1967, and is from Katsina State of Nigeria. She acquired a Bachelor's degree in Economics in 1990 from the University of East Anglia and a Masters degree in Entrepreneurship and Competitive Strategy in 1992 from Reading University ,both in England. She has over 20 years of excellent work experience, spanning both public and private sector,involving banking, oil and gas,hospitality and construction. She holds Directorship in various Nigerian companies that span these sectors. In the public sector, she held the position of SA to the 1st lady of Nigeria in 2008/2009 . In 2015/2017 she also held position of SSA in the Office of the Senate President. On the international front in 2014 to date, she was made the Nigerian Focal person for the Annual Investment meeting UAE, by the Ministry of Economy of Dubai. This is an annual event under the patronage of the Ruler of Dubai and Prime Minister of UAE, HH Sheikh Mohammed Al Rashid Al Maktoum. She is also a member of other organisations such as White Ribbon Alliance and African Women Entrepreneurship Program, founded by Hilary Clinton.

Priscilla Ogwemoh

A lawyer with over 26 years post call experience, armed with leadership and mentorship skills to help uplift any organisation and enhance proper restructuring. Mrs Ogwemoh is a Managing Partner at OLISA AGBAKOBA LEGAL (OAL) She is an active number of many Professional and social organisations such as Nigerian Bar Association, International Bar Association (IBA) Council Member - Nigerian Bar Association Section on Business Law (NBA-SBL) Fellow/Chairperson - Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Nigeria), Accredited Mediator- UK Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR-UK) Institute of Directors (IOD), Nigerian Institute of Management
